Bio

Logan Anderson is a versatile composer for both commercial and concert settings.

He holds a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance and a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting from Brigham Young University. He will receive his Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance from the University of Southern California in December 2024, where he also specialized in Music Technology and Screen Scoring.

Logan's compositions have garnered significant recognition. In 2010, he won a university-wide competition at the University of Miami to compose the president’s entrance fanfare, performed at the semi-annual commencement ceremonies. Most recently, he composed the music for Spirit of the Art City (2024), a short film directed by The Plains that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Springville (Utah) Art Museum’s annual Spring Salon, and Brother Francis Tries to Fly (2024), directed by Daniel Chimes.

His upcoming project is Fantasia on Cheese, a documentary directed by fellow Idaho native Hunter Phillips, exploring the modern struggles of traditional cheddar cheese makers in Britain. In addition to his composing career, Logan serves as the Executive Director of the Idaho State-Civic Symphony, where he leverages his unique insights and leadership skills to further the symphony's mission and impact.
